Nautical Charts

The National Survey and Cadastre (KMS) is Denmark's official producer of nautical charts of the waters surrounding Denmark, The Faroe Islands and Greenland. We publish a number of nautical charts at various scales. These charts are the basis for planning and conducting safe seagoing voyages.

Nautical charts are available in paper format, in electronic format for use in ECDIS or as raster charts in various formats.

The hydrographic offices of the countries surrounding Denmark publish nautical charts, nautical publications and notices to mariners for sailing in the waters around their respective countries.

KMS recommends that you always use nautical charts, nautical publications and notices to mariners from the Hydrographic Office of the waters in which you are navigating.
