BLAST is a regional project that covers the North Sea and neighbouring countries. From 2009 through 2012, 16 partners from 6 countries, including governmental organizations, universities and private companies, will collaborate to harmonise and integrate geographic data covering both land and sea.
The National Survey and Cadastre is involved in all the project's six work packages, and is the lead partner for the BLAST's communications.
BLAST is funded by the European Union as part of the Interreg IVB North Sea Region Programme.
You can visit the BLAST website at www.blast-project.eu. The site will serve as the project’s main information portal, and will include updates and information on new developments, plans, illustrations, presentations and news. Results will also regularly be presented during the project period.
You can also become a fan of BLAST on Facebook and follow the project there.
