Denmark 1:50,000 - Kort50

Denmark 1:50,000, Kort50, is established to meet the needs of the Danish military. The contents are similar to those of Denmark 1:25,000, Kort25, but without fine details such as rural houses and smaller urban structures. Roads and paths are, for the most part, included. The elevation data in the database is accurate to within five metres.

Kort50 is based on the topographic data from FOT, the Danish Elevation Model, the Place Name and Information Register (SNSOR). The data collection is automatically generalised with some manual adjustments.

An updated version is expected in 2012.
