Denmark 1:100,000 - Kort100

Denmark 1:100,000, Kort100, has its origin in the Danish Army's Topographic Mapping Department, dating back to 1891. Since 1995 Kort100 has been digitial.

The contents of this data collection are generalised, and are appropriate for administration and planning. The basemap shows only the largest of buildings. The roads data do not include shorter roads in fields and forests.  Similarly, hedges, ditches, small forests and ponds are not included. Elevations are accurate to within five metres. All of the generalising in the production of this database is done by hand.

Data are based on the topographic data in FOT, the Danish Elevation Model, and the Place Name and Information Register (SNSOR).

The newest version is from 2012.
