Denmark 1:10,000 - Kort10

Denmark 1:10,000, Kort10, is a topographic product widely used to produce basemaps of Denmark. It is a structured, object-oriented vector resource. This means that its contents are defined as either points, lines or areas.

Kort10 is based on the themes specified in the common public geodata cooperation (FOT), which has 7 object classes: buldings, building area, traffic, technical, nature, hydro, and administrative. The latest FOT specification can be found here. These FOT data are supplemented by additional information, such as administrative boundaries, place names and elevation data from the Danish Elevation Model.

Data are updated on a three year rotating basis at its minimum, and the road theme further three times a year.

Kort10 is provided to non-public users only to a certain level of detail. Access to data in its highest level of detail is provided by the municipality in question.
